Police Investigate Shooting Near Des Moines School

Des Moines police investigated a shooting near Hiatt Middle School Thursday night.

Police said a preliminary investigation suggests that at least two vehicles pulled into the parking lot and when people from both vehicles got out, an argument ensued, which quickly became physical. Police said that's when one of the males pulled out a gun and fired it several times.
