The 13-year-old girl arrested along with two friends for plotting to kill the middle school student’s mother reportedly had a long history of violence and fighting, according to sources close to the case.
Jackie Salcido, a 14-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy identified as Ricardo Saldaña — all Ranchero Middle School students — were booked for attempted murder, conspiracy and burglary Tuesday when San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Hesperia station investigators learned of the teens’ plan to murder the girl’s mother. The identity of the second girl has not been confirmed.
