A resident of Westmoreland County, Pa., has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Pittsburgh on a charge of possession of material depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor, United States Attorney David J. Hickton announced today.

The one-count indictment named Joshua J. Gildea, 25, formerly of 116 South 7th Street, Youngwood, Pa., as the sole defendant. According to the indictment, on July 30, 2012, Gildea possessed visual depictions, namely, images and videos in computer graphics files, the production of which involved the use of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

New Caney, TX

A man has been accused of making child pornography and detectives are trying to determine how many children were forced to perform sexual acts.

John Paul Ebarb, 41, has been charged with manufacturing and distribution of child pornography and sexual performance by a child. He is being held in the Montgomery County Jail without bond.
Montgomery County sheriff's deputies said Ebarb was making child pornography in the New Caney area and sent it to people in other states.

Frankfort, KY
A Kenton County man is facing charges on accusations that he had more than 30,000 child pornography files on his computers.

The Kenton County Sheriff’s Department arrested Ryan Mathew Hoff, 24, Wednesday night on one count of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and one count of distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

The charges stem from an undercover investigation by Conway’s Cybercrimes Unit that began on Aug. 13. Investigators executed a search warrant at Hoff’s Independence residence on Sept. 6, with the assistance of Kentucky State Police.

Slatington, PA
A Slatington man was charged in a federal indictment Thursday with the possession of child pornography and sending it to others on the Internet.

Ivan Capetillo, 44, in July was found to have a cellphone that held images of children engaged in sexually explicit acts, according to the indictment. A further investigation determined he had shipped child pornography online, the indictment says.

Council Bluffs, IA
A judge has sentenced an Iowa man to four years in federal prison for possession of child pornography.

Federal prosecutors in Iowa announced Thursday that 29-year-old Jeffrey Daniel Bozarth of Council Bluffs pleaded guilty to the charge in U.S. District Court.

Authorities say the charge arose out of a Nebraska State Patrol investigation of child pornography sent through online file-sharing programs. Federal agents searched Bozarth's home in Council Bluffs in December 2010, and found what prosecutors describe as a "significant quantity" of child pornography.

Investigators said they found a man in bed with an 8-year-old boy when they went to his home to search for child pornography.

Harris County Precinct 4 deputy constables said their investigation into Chaise Green, 28, led them to his Glenbranch Drive home, where he lived with his girlfriend, her two young sons and his girlfriend's mother.

Detectives said as they raided the home, they found Green in bed with his girlfriend's 8-year-old son, who wore only shorts and no T-shirt.
