Middle school student Jackson Bonar, 11 years old, was able to safely steer and stop a bus he and his classmates were riding when the driver became incapacitated.Jackson Bonar, of Naples, was just two blocks from his home at around 6 p.m. Tuesday when the driver, Robert Kelly, slumped over, the boy told the Naples Daily News.

The boy was just a few feet from hitting a palm tree when Bonar jumped up, took the wheel and steered it out of trouble.

A teacher from the boy's school, Oakridge Middle School, happened to drive by and helped the kids off the bus.
