U.S. District Judge John Antoon, II today sentenced Andrew Taylor (24, Winter Park) to 14 years in federal prison for distributing child pornography. The court also ordered Taylor to forfeit the computer and hard drives that he used to distribute the child pornography. As part of his sentence, Taylor was also ordered to serve a 30-year term of supervised release, upon completion of his prison sentence, and to register as a sex offender. Taylor pleaded guilty on April 23, 2012.

According to court documents, Taylor distributed child pornography using a file sharing program over the b. In January 2010 and in January 2011, he distributed a total of 350 files containing child pornography to an undercover law enforcement officer. All the images recorded the sexual abuse of infants and very young children.

Tampa, FL
A former assistant cruise director for the Norwegian Star was sentenced Monday to nine years in federal prison on a child pornography charge after he had sex with and exchanged explicit photos with a 16-year-old passenger.

Senad Djedovic, 29, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzogovina, met the Minnesota girl during a seven-day cruise she was on with her parents, according to federal court documents, including Djedovic's signed plea agreement.

Djedovic met up with the girl after a stop at Costa Maya, Mexico. The pair had a sexual encounter in a staircase, according to a federal complaint affidavit. Djedovic knew the girl was 16 when they had sex, according to his plea agreement.

Collinsville, IL
A Collinsville man was sentenced in federal district court Monday to more than 20 years in prison for child pornography offenses.

Eric R. Filebark, 41, will serve 12 years in prison for distribution of child pornography and 10 years in prison for possession of child pornography. The sentences will run concurrently, according to U.S. Attorney Stephen R. Wigginton.

Filebark's criminal activity was discovered during an Internet undercover operation. During the investigation, a police officer identified a computer in Illinois offering to share 65 images that contained names indicative of child pornography. The officer downloaded seven images, six of which depicted minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct from Filebark's computer. Further investigation revealed that the computer was located at Filebark's residence in Collinsville.

Kansas City, MO
An Independence, Mo., man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to possessing child pornography.
Michael Larson received the maximum penalty for the crime and will not be eligible for parole.
Larson, who pleaded guilty in March, was initially identified in two FBI investigations. Agents determined that he was making child pornography on his computer available on a peer-to-peer file-sharing network.

Agents also raided Larson's home and said they found 138 illicit images on three computers. Police said that after he lost his home to foreclosure in 2010, the new owner reported finding 31 compact discs in the chimney flue that also contained pornographic images.

A Baldwin County man this afternoon admitted to posting child pornography on another person’s Facebook page.

Cameron Bryant Harris, 22, pleaded guilty to receipt and distribution of child pornography as part of a deal in which federal prosecutors will recommend the minimum prison term under advisory sentencing guidelines.

Defense attorney Buzz Jordan said his client has a long history of mental health problems. He said he expects a clinical psychologist hired by the defense to testify about those problems at the defendant’s sentencing hearing in January.

Three years after several self-identified “boylovers,” who met in person and online to discuss their sexual interest in children and trade child pornography, were arrested in an FBI sting during or soon after a purported party at a hotel in suburban Skokie, a total of eight defendants have been convicted and sentenced to federal prison terms as a result of the investigation. The sentences ranged from nine years for a suburban Crest Hill man sentenced last week in Chicago to 120 years for a Missouri man sentenced last year in St. Louis.

Six of the eight defendants pleaded guilty and three of them cooperated against others, while the Crest Hill man and a Missouri defendant were convicted after separate trials. All were prosecuted as part of an investigation by the Chicago FBI’s Innocent Images Task Force, which culminated with the undercover sting in September 2009.

Wayne L. Conrad, Jr., age 47, of Gansevoort, New York, pled guilty today in United States District Court in Albany before United States District Court Judge Mae A. D’Agostino to one count of receiving child pornography, announced United States Attorney Richard S. Hartunian; Clifford C. Holly, Special Agent in Charge, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Albany Division; and Joseph D’Amico, Superintendent of New York State Police.

Pursuant to a written plea agreement, Conrad admitted that between May 2007 and February 1, 2012, he used the Internet to access child pornography websites and various file sharing networks and downloaded hundreds of still images and videos of child pornography onto his home computer and external hard drives.
