A teen is in the hospital after her grandmother says she smoked spice that was purchased at a gas station Tuesday.
The teenage girl was at IU Health Methodist Hospital. Her grandmother said she was rushed there after convulsing after smoking spice.
The girl's grandmother called 24-Hour News 8 and police after confronting a gas station attendant where the product was purchased.
The grandmother didn't wait for police, but took matters into her own hands.
"That's why we called the police and the news place to keep me from going in there doing what I really want to do to them," said Yvonne Perry.
