Seven students in the Wilson Middle School were hospitalized after a fireball erupted during a chemistry experiment. All seven students have been released from the hospital.
The science teacher poured rubbing alcohol into a beaker, then lit it with a flame. The teacher grabbed a fire extinguisher and doused the flames.
This incident highlights the concerns that there aren't lab safety standards across the board.
