Johnson High School has been taken off of lockdown.
The high school was placed on lockdown shortly before noon today following a shooting in the area, said Keith Ward, a school district spokesman. The lockdown was lifted by 1 p.m.
Ward said the procedure is done any time there is a potential threat to students' safety.
