A Lodi middle school was placed on lockdown Thursday afternoon after someone called the school's office and said there would be a drive-by shooting. Police said someone called Millswood Middle School and asked for the vice principal by name. The caller swore at the vice principal, and claimed that a drive-by shooting would take place after school, before hanging up, authorities said.
