Crimes against Children 7-12-12 Part II

Tampa Bay, FL
A 25-year-old Tampa man faces child pornography charges after Hillsborough County detectives found child porn and downloaded items he had made available, the sheriff's office said.

Steven Carl Brannon Jr., 25, 11310 Pine Court, No. B306, is charged with eight counts of distribution of child pornography and 21 counts of possession of child pornography.

Detectives with the Internet Predator Unit got a warrant and searched his residence today following a two-month investigation, the sheriff's office said.

They seized three computers, external and internal hard drives, cell phones and SD cards, according to the sheriff's office. An examination of the items found that Brannon had files depicting children, 3 to 16 years of age, engaged in sexual activities, detectives said. He also had child pornography files that he made available for download, which were accessed by detectives.

San Antonio, TX
Child pornography and heroin was available at two San Antonio restaurants by employing code words when ordering, a sentencing hearing revealed.

The methods of delivering illegal goods were revealed in a docket of immigration violators, gun smugglers and drug sellers before U.S. District Judge Xavier Rodriguez Wednesday, including computer memory cards containing child pornography available at a Wendy's drive-through window, and heroin obtained by ordering "chiva," or goat meat, from the proprietor of Anna's Café, the San Antonio Express-News reported Thursday.

Juan Antonio Rosa, 36, was sentenced to more than 21 years in a federal prison for distributing child pornography by placing it in french fries containers at the Wendy's franchise where he worked, to give to certain customers he met in online social networking sites, the newspaper said.

Bradley Nash, 24, who was a volunteer with the Discovery band, was arrested July 3 and charged with possession of child pornography after police found "obscene images of minors" on his computer. He will appear before District Judge Lynn Sherrod Wednesday morning for a felony examination hearing.

Police said they were notified on June 28 of a possibly inappropriate relationship between Bradley Nash and a 15-year-old female student. Police said the school's administration worked with police and the girl's parents to investigate.

Police said Johnny Nash, the Discovery band director, had been informed of the alleged relationship and failed to report it to authorities as required by state law.
