A student was suspended from school for writing a poem about the Sandy Hook Elementary School attack.
A passage from the poem read, "I understand the killings in Connecticut. I know why he pulled the trigger." The student went on to write, "Why are we oppressed by a dysfunctional community of haters and blamers?"
The student said that the poem was just a way to express herself.
