Noblesville, IN
Nearly two months after a Noblesville man was arrested for possessing child pornography, the person who turned him in is telling 24-Hour News 8 why she did it.
Natasha Barnette, 21, said she can rest a little easier at night.
Natasha is talking about her own father, 42-year-old Samuel Barnette. She called police after she found child pornography on his laptop.
"They found very graphic videos and images, very, very violent videos of children," Natasha said. "I felt really ashamed about that and now I realize I have no reason to be. I did the right thing."
Barnette had been working at Promise Road Elementary School in Noblesville for just three weeks.
His daughter uncovered his secret just two days before school was to start.
Barnette was employed at the new school as a janitor.
