The bomb squad was called in to detonate a 30-year old hand grenade some children found while playing in a field.  Deputies found a second grenade and detonated that one as well.

Two Former Students in Custody in Suspected Arson of Blanding High School

Blanding, UT
A suspected arson gutted the media center of San Juan High School early Saturday morning, causing extensive damage.

Two Blanding men have been arrested in connection with the suspected arson and a rash of recent burglaries at the high school and nearby middle school. The suspects were identified as Deven W. White, 19, and Christopher Stolzer, 22, according to the San Juan County Sheriff's Office. Both are former students of San Juan High School, although deputies said the motive for the alleged offenses has not been established.
