area of Clearwater High School after they received a report of a
possible kidnapping attempt Monday night on school grounds.
According to police, around 10:45 p.m., a 12-year-old girl came into
contact with a man near Clearwater High School after she ran away from

The girl told police the man pulled her into some trees near the
concession area on the school grounds and made her sit on his lap. She
said he then began to make sexually charged comments.
She was able to break free and run for help to a nearby witness. The man fled the scene.
