Indianapolis, IN
After revelations of a reported rape at North Central High School, school officials said they are cooperating with the police investigation and insist the school system “continually engages in careful supervision” of students.
But on April 9, police said, an 18-year-old boy at the school reportedly forced a 16-year-old girl to perform various sex acts with him. The boy, Danny Roads, 18, who officials said was developmentally disabled, forced the other teen into an empty classroom, where the incident allegedly took place, according to court documents.
A
teacher overheard other students talking about the incident and
confronted them, then upon hearing the allegations immediately reported
what she had learned to school administrators, who then talked with the teen girl, then informed an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officer working at the school of the allegations.
