A 28-year-old man was arrested last week at his New Castle-area home as part of an on-going investigation into dealing in child pornography, state officials said today.
Shannon L. Williams, of the William Penn Village Apartments, was charged Thursday with 25 counts of dealing in child pornography, said Jason Miller, spokesman for the state Attorney General’s Office.
An online undercover investigation by the Delaware Child Predator Task Force led to Williams’ home.
Detectives, assigned to root out child predators, obtained a warrant to search the premises and retrieved a desktop computer and other assorted digital media.
McCracken County, KY
Police have arrested a McCracken County, Ky. man after finding child pornography in his home.
Fifty-six-year-old Danny Coons is charged with 20 counts of child pornography.
Police said they discovered the pornography as part of an ongoing undercover Internet Crimes Against Children Investigation. Detectives said they were lead to the suspect's residence after a computer in his home was seen online with files of child sexual exploitation.
Spring, TX
A Spring, Montgomery County, man has been arrested on possession of child pornography charges.
The Harris County Precinct 4 Constables Office High Tech Crimes Unit executed a search warrant on Wednesday at the home of Ralph Rubino, 69.
Rubino was the focus of a possession and distribution of child pornography investigation. Rubino was allegedly making numerous images of child pornography available on the Internet.
Investigators searched his property and interviewed Rubino, who admitted to possessing the child pornography, officials said. Authorities said they found numerous images of child pornography on his computer and other technology sources.
Rubino was arrested on Friday and booked in the Montgomery County Jail. He was charged with four counts of possession of child pornography. His bond has been set at $125,000 for each count.
