Deputies said a high school teacher is facing child pornography charges.

Guilford County Sheriff BJ Barnes said David Marc Rich, 59, was arrested at his home on Westfield Street in High Point after he admitted to possessing child pornography.

Barnes said deputies, members of the N.C. State Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Homeland Security and North Carolina Internet Crimes Against Children found multiple images depicting child pornography in Rich's laptop.

Rich told officers he is teaching history at Westchester County Day School.

Deputies said Rich was charged with 10 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He was taken to the Guilford County Jail on $50,000 secured bond.
