STOP Human Trafficking!

HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND THE DOJ
Victims of human trafficking are off the radar of most agencies in this country. Primarily women and children, human trafficking victims are among the most marginalized of US residents. They live in a shadow world, overlooked by most, handicapped by lack of education, lack of fluency in English, lack of appropriate immigration paperwork (either because they have entered the country illegally or because their captors have confiscated it) and a mistrust of law enforcement due to police corruption in their home countries.
