Crimes against Children 9-10-12 Part II

Pembroke, NY
A convicted child molester told police, according to court documents, that he obtained six child pornography DVDs from a 53-year-old woman from Pembroke.

That accusation is contained in a statement filed in Pembroke Town Court in support of the arrest of Beverly Hensel, 53, of 8921 Alleghany Road, Pembroke. Hansel was charged with one count of possession of a sexual performance of a child following an investigation by Batavia PD.

According to James L. Little, 40, formerly of Batavia, he first met Hansel in November 2007 at the Genesee House in Corfu.

Det. Kevin Czora said Little's stash of child porn DVDs were uncovered in a search of Little's residence when he was arrested for molesting the toddler. When questioned, Little named Hansel as the source of the DVDs.

Columbus, OH
An Indianapolis man pleaded guilty Friday to producing child pornography and arranging to meet two boys for sexual activity.

Tony R. Fisher, 35, of Indianapolis, pleaded guilty to one count of production of child pornography and one count of coercion of a minor.

Officials said he made a trip from Indianapolis to Columbus to engage in sexual activity with what he believed to be two young males.

According to a testimony presented during the hearing, Fisher approached an ICAC Task Force officer conducting an undercover investigation on the Internet in May 2012 and offered to trade him pictures and videos of child pornography.

Fisher also engaged in a conversation with the undercover officer regarding his desire to engage in sexual activity with the undercover officer's two fictitious minor foster children and told the officer he would like to “film” the sexual encounter.

The officer arranged a meeting at a location in Franklin County on June 1. When Fisher showed up, a sheriff’s deputy took him into custody. Officers obtained a federal search warrant, examined a laptop computer Fisher had with him and found several images and videos of child pornography.

Celebration, FL
A 29-year-old Celebration man was indicted by a federal grand jury this week on child pornography charges, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

John David Baker was arrested Friday on charges of production, transportation and possession of child pornography.

Ft. Wayne, IN
Two years after he was indicted on a single charge of receiving and producing child pornography, and days before his trial was to begin, a Fort Wayne man pleaded guilty.

Harry Esterline, who was 71 at the time of his indictment in 2010, pleaded guilty to a new charge filed against him – possession of child pornography.

The charge and the plea agreement were filed on the same day, according to federal court records.

Ocala, FL
A man accused of possession of child pornography was sentenced Thursday to 100 years in prison.

Raymond Franklin Garcia, 40, was sentenced on 12 counts of possession by Judge Hale Stancil. Six counts were second degree felonies, each punishable by 15 years in prison. The other six counts were third degree felonies, each punishable by five years in prison.

Garcia was found guilty by a six-member jury. He could have been sentenced to a total of 120 years for the 12 counts, but the judge ruled he should serve 100 years.

Oxford, MS
Court records say a man has pleaded guilty in a child pornography case.

The indictment in the case says Jeffrey Lee Jones knowingly possessed images of child pornography in April 2011. He pleaded not guilty in May.

He faces up to 10 years at sentencing. Court records did not show a sentencing date.
United States District Judge Garland E. Burrell Jr. sentenced Justin Graham, 31, of Lincoln, today to 20 years in prison, a $5,000 fine, and a lifetime of supervised release for sharing child pornography, United States Attorney Benjamin B. Wagner announced. Upon his release, Graham will be required to register as a sex offender. Graham pleaded guilty to the charges on March 9, 2012. The prison term is the highest penalty that could have been imposed for the crime.
According to court documents, an undercover investigation determined that Graham was trading child pornography over the Internet. After his arrest, investigators learned that he had been surreptitiously recording video of some of his karate students, including children, when they had been dressing and undressing in his home. Review of Graham’s computer located tens of thousands of images and videos of other children being sexually exploited, according to court records.

Alexandria, VA
A former clique leader of MS-13 in Maryland pled guilty today for his role in a gang-run juvenile prostitution ring.

Yimmy Anthony Pineda Penado, also known as “Critico” and “Spike,” 22, of Montgomery County, Maryland, pled guilty today to sex trafficking a juvenile. He faces a mandatory minimum penalty of 10 years and a maximum of life in prison when he is sentenced on December 14, 2012.
“This is the 11th gang member convicted with child sex trafficking since 2011,” said U.S. Attorney MacBride. “Prostituting young girls is a growing threat in our area, and we encourage anyone with information of this activity to call law enforcement. That one call could save a girl from sexual slavery.”
