Dearborn Heights Police are still investigating the killing. They say Dupree’s husband called 911 and told them a home invader had stabbed his wife. Police
arrived minutes later. They aren’t releasing details, but what they
found led them to arrest Nytia Dupree’s 38-year-old husband. He is in
jail, but has not yet been charged with a crime.
“What he told police, did not match up to evidence at the scene,” said Dearborn Heights Police Capt. Jeff Seipenko.
