Sacramento, CA
Two Sacramento men have pleaded guilty in separate cases to possessing child pornography.

Michael Hill, 61, and Oliver P. Kim, 37, entered the pleas Monday in federal court in Sacramento, a federal Department of Justice news release states.

In October 2010, special agents with the California Department of Justice identified a computer at Hill's address offering files of child pornography through an Internet file-sharing network. Agents subsequently obtained a search warrant for Hill's residence and found 100,000 images and videos of child pornography on his computer, authorities said. The files showed molestation and abuse of children, including infants.

Between Feb. 9 and March 23, 2011, agents with the Sacramento Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force identified a computer at Kim's address offering child pornography files through an Internet file-sharing network. A federal search warrant was executed at Kim's home March 23, 2011.

Forensic analysis showed that Kim had downloaded child pornography through the file-sharing network installed on his laptop computer and saved approximately 1,500 videos and 750 images of child pornography to the external hard drives, the news release states. The analysis also showed that he had searched for child pornography images through the file-sharing network on the laptop computer.
