Crimes against Children 10-31-12 Part II
Los Angeles, CA
A Newbury Park man was arrested Monday in connection with possessing,
distributing, receiving and advertising child pornography, the
FBI said.
Arlan Bustillos, 35, was arrested in his home, officials said. He was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in federal court in Los Angeles.
FBI agents and Ventura County sheriff's deputies took part in the arrest. The FBI was expected to release more information on the case Tuesday.
Orland Park, IL
An Orland Park man has been charged with possession of child pornography after police searched his home.
Headmaster Fred Assaf of Pace Academy said in the letter the teacher
was fired immediately after the school learned of the arrest, The
Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Tuesday.

A jury trial for a 43-year-old former Meridian Middle School
counselor accused of producing child pornography is now set to begin on
April 3.
Mark Saltzer, who was arrested in August and is being held in the Ada County Jail on a $1 million bond, pleaded not guilty Tuesday to 10 counts of felony sexual exploitation of a child.
The 45-year-old Saltzer worked as a counselor with the Meridian School District since 2007 until he was put on leave late this past summer, according to Meridian School District records. Saltzer no longer works for the school district.
Meridian School District spokesman Eric Exline said in August that any crimes committed by Saltzer took place “completely outside our school system ... We were not part of it."
Ada County prosecutors say Saltzer admitted to police that he produced child porn in the past.

A Near West Side man was charged with numerous child pornography
charges in Will County for allegedly transferring images of children and
exposing himself to an undercover cop online.
Mark R. Barreto, 34, of the 300 block of North Canal Street in Chicago, was charged Wednesday with felony aggravated child pornography, felony child pornography, felony indecent solicitation of a child, felony grooming and misdemeanor indecent solicitation of a child, according to a release from the Will County State’s Attorney’s office.

Eric
A. Holt, 28, of the 8400 block of Wheeler Drive in Orland Park, was
arrested Oct. 17 after a week-long investigation, according to Orland
Park police.
Holt is charged with one count of
aggravated possession of child pornography and one count of possession
of child pornography, police said.
Atlanta police have arrested a teacher at a prominent private school
