Kicking an elementary school principal prompted police to arrest a 6-year-old in Shelbyville, police officials say.
It was last week when officials from Hendricks Elementary School in Shelbyville called police when the boy became violent shortly after returning from a suspension, according to the police report.
The boy had originally been suspended from school for hitting and biting school employees, the report said. In the more recent incident on April 18, school officials told police the boy threatened to kill the principal and assistant principal, and they also said he kicked the principal.
