According to police reports, the grandmother of a Catlettsburg
elementary student says a man driving a white van tried to coax her
granddaughter off her porch and into his vehicle, an alleged abduction attempt.

Investigators early Monday sent FBI dogs trained for urban searches into
the Tucson home where a 6-year-old girl disappeared as teams of law
officers worked to determine if she was abducted.
