Parents are on edge and police are worried in and around Bonne Terre,
Missouri. Two men have been trying to lure young people into their
truck, authorities said. It has happened as many as four times, twice
on Wednesday.
The most recent case happened around 7 last night in Bonne Terre when
a seven year old girl said two men tried to get her inside their
vehicle. She ran home. Her family does not want her identity
disclosed. The girl said this about the two men, “I was scared that
they were going to take me.”
A few hours earlier and about 5 miles away Terre du Lac police said
two girls, ages 10 and 12, were walking to the store when they were
approached by two men in a similar truck. The chief said the passenger
even got out and tried to grab the girls. They ran off unharmed. Still
police are concerned.
