Winfield police are investigating a possible child abduction attempt
that occurred Wednesday morning as a 9-year-old girl was walking to
school.
The girl was walking to Pleasant Hill School, 1N 220
Pleasant Hill Road, when a man in a vehicle approached her as she was
crossing the street.
