A registered sex offender is facing charges he tried to abduct two young girls outside a New Hampshire elementary school.
Christopher
Geary of Gilford is charged with two felony counts of attempted
abduction of a child under 18, and two misdemeanor counts of stalking.
Bristol Police Chief Michael Lewis told The Citizen ( http://bit.ly/QVr9kD)
that the 43-year-old Geary approached the girls, ages 8 and 9, while
driving his sport utility vehicle about 6 p.m. Thursday outside Bristol
Elementary School.
Lewis
said when Geary exited his vehicle, the girls began to scream and run.
Based upon the girls' description, police arrested Geary.
According
to the state's sex offender registry, Geary was previously convicted of
indecent exposure and lewdness as well as attempted sexual assault with
a victim under 13.
