A 15-year old student was sent to the hospital after being stabbed by a 14-year old student at Presentation College in San Fernando, CA.
The victim was able to provide the police with a description of his attacker. The attacker was found at the back of a basketball court, bleeding from apparent self-inflicted wounds.
Counseling is being provided to students and staff.

Teen pleads out in assault case
Detroit, MI
A 14-year old student was charged with aggravated assault for grabbing a classmate by her hair, throwing her to the ground, and punching her. Her victim suffered a broken nose and a concussion.
The attacker pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of assault and battery.
A third student who recorded the fight on a cell phone and posted it on social media was not charged.

Social Media Fuels High-School Attack

A bump in the hallway at Freedom High School fueled a profanity-laced argument. That, in turn, led to an argument on Instagram, a form of social media, which led to an attack in the school cafeteria the next day that put a girl in the intensive care unit of a hospital.
The attacker was arrested on suspicion of felonious battery.

Teachers and Pupils Save Girl Stabbed at School Gates
Stourbridge, West Mids, England
Police said the bravery of pupils, teachers and parents who ran to the victim's aid, saved the life of the victim by wrestling the attacker away from her.
They then held the attacker on the ground until police arrived.
The teenage victim suffered serious injuries but was conscious and out of danger.

China Stabbing Spree Hurts 22 Schoolchildren

A man with a knife hurt 22 children and one adult at a primary school in central China, just as students were arriving for classes. This is the latest in a series of rampage attacks at Chinese schools.
The attack happened in the Henan province village of Chengping said a police officer from Guangshan county, where the village is located.
The attacker, 36-year-old villager Min Yingjun, is now in police custody.
