A 15-year old student was sent to the hospital after being stabbed by a 14-year old student at Presentation College in San Fernando, CA.
The victim was able to provide the police with a description of his attacker. The attacker was found at the back of a basketball court, bleeding from apparent self-inflicted wounds.
Counseling is being provided to students and staff.

Fatality identified in Sparks City school shooting
Sparks City, Nevada
The fatality from today's shooting in Sparks Middle School has been identified. Michael Landsberry, a math teacher at the middle school, was in the Nevada National Guard, and was also a former Marine.
Witnesses say that when a shot rang out, Mr. Landsberry came to investigate. The student shooter pointed a gun at him, and Mr. Landsberry told him to put it down, whereupon he was shot and killed. The shooter subsequently shot and wounded two other students.
Mr. Landsberry is survived by his wife, two step-daughters, and a legacy of giving his life as a shield for others.

Reynolds Middle School Student Reports Attempted Abduction
Lancaster, PA
A Reynolds Middle School student reported that a man ran behind her and attempted to grab her. There were several witnesses, and the police say that the attempted abduction was thwarted by "Good Samaritans".
The attempted abduction took place while the girl was on her way to school.
